  • How does Holy Spirit Episcopal School raise money?

    Holy Spirit Episcopal School's primary fundraising activities are the Holy Spirit Enrichment Fund (HSEF) annual campaign, the Bookfair, the Community Auction, the FamFest family festival, and initiatives carried out through parent organizations such as the PTO and Booster Club.

  • What is the Holy Spirit Enrichment Fund?

    The HSES annual fund campaign, Holy Spirit Enrichment Fund (HSEF), provides a tax-deductible opportunity and seeks gifts from parents, grandparents, alumni and parents of alumni, members of the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, parishioners, and friends.

    The HSEF is the cornerstone of all fundraising for Holy Spirit Episcopal School—without it, HSES would not be able to deliver the quality education for which we are known. It enables us to retain and attract strong faculty; enhance the depth and breadth of our technology curriculum; augment opportunities for professional development; remain on the cutting edge of co-curricular activities that include fine arts, athletics, Ecolink, and community service; and preserve a rich character-education program.

    HSEF contributions can be gifts of cash, check, credit card, and stock, as well as matching gifts.

    More than 500 companies match their employees’ gifts. Please contact your human resources representative for more information on matching gifts. Taking advantage of such a program could double or even triple the impact of your gift.

  • Why should I give to the annual fund?

    The annual fund, known as the Holy Spirit Enrichment Fund, directly affects the lives of HSES students by enriching their education through various programs. It provides financial support for extra resources that would otherwise have to be funded by raising tuition rates.

  • What are the tax benefits of supporting the annual fund?

    Holy Spirit Episcopal School is an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donors may deduct contributions as provided in section 170 of the Code. Gifts may be eligible for matching-gift programs offered by your employer, which could double or even triple the impact of your gift.
