After earning her bachelor’s in health science from Clemson University, Lindsay Brown “tumbled” into teaching when she began coaching kids’ gymnastics. One thing led to another, and she ended up in her own classroom—first teaching at St. Martin’s Episcopal Preschool, then joining Holy Spirit in 2006. Mrs. Brown teaches students that their effort, dedication, and commitment to learning make a huge impact on their success in the classroom, and she follows this same philosophy when investing in her own professional development. She completed the Rice University year-long Classroom Storytelling course, and she regularly attends webinars, reads current educational books, and listens to podcasts. In her free time, Mrs. Brown enjoys learning more about wine, finding new coffee spots, spending time with family, and making truly marvelous charcuterie boards. |
