Lynne Brown stepped into her first elementary classroom as a teacher of record in 1986, and continued teaching in Spring Branch ISD for the next 32 years. Along the way, she received a Crystal Apple Award for teaching excellence and earned Teacher of the Year honors twice. Affectionately known as Ms. Lynne, she joined Holy Spirit in 2017, and has taught our precious three-year-olds ever since. Through purposeful play, individualized instruction, open-ended activities, and extended collaboration with parents, she fosters independent social-emotional and academic learning and seeks to help children develop to their fullest potential. Ms. Lynne earned a bachelor’s in education from Eastern Michigan University, holds multiple teaching licenses, and is a frequent participant in professional development training. In her free time, she enjoys taking Jazzercise classes and walking for exercise.
