In Sonia Arriaza’s early childhood classroom, play is more than just a fun activity—it’s how students learn about the world around them. Through interactions with classmates and by following their teacher’s example, her students learn to share, be good friends, and handle big emotions constructively. A member of Holy Spirit’s faculty since 2001, Mrs. Arriaza is trained in Rice University’s School Literacy and Culture early literacy techniques and holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s in business from the University of Phoenix. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, taking long walks, doing yoga, and traveling around the world. |
